The Ashgill Recreation Centre

The Ashgill Recreation Centre (ARC) is located within the heart of the Milton area of North Glasgow. The centre is open Tuesday to Saturday and boasts a number of programmes and projects including a Community Gym, Click and Connect Learning Centre, Birthday Party booking, Soft Play and Under 5’s Area, Bubble Football, Community Café and so much more…

Community Café

Our community café is open throughout the day Tuesday to Saturday serving breakfast, lunch, snacks as well as tea and coffee. The café also has free wi-fi.

Bubble Football

The ARC has 12 Bubble Footballs which can be hired within our large sports hall.

Main hall

The ARC’s main hall can be used for a number of different sports like badminton, football and fitness classes, and is available to hire.

Birthday parties

We have a number of options available for kids’ birthday parties. With an on-site bouncy castle, soft play area, music system and catering, we can provide an afternoon to remember. To book a birthday party at the centre, pop in and speak to the staff or call 0141 945 3855.

Activities and programmes

The centre has a range of activities and programmes taking place throughout the year. Just pop in or visit our Facebook page to find out what’s on.

Gym and Fitness Centre

For £20 per year (working out at under 6p a day!) you can access our fantastic gym and fitness centre. Simply complete a membership form and take part in an induction and you can access the gym Tuesday to Saturday, 9am till 9pm.

Bike hire

The centre is now offering bike hire with a daily and weekly rate. To find out more, or to hire one of our bikes, pop in or give us a call on 0141 772 7993.

Steering Group

The staff at the ARC are bringing together a steering group of the centre’s users to help fundraise for activities and programmes within the centre. If you’re interested in joining the steering group, let the staff in the centre know.
