To tackle antisocial behaviour, Community Safety Glasgow engages with those who have been involved in offending behaviour, using a range of different approaches.
The aim of our Community Justice Services is to achieve a reduction in offending (both in volume and seriousness), a reduction in prosecutions and an increase in positive destinations and outcomes for those who have offended.
We work with individuals to encourage them to address the causes of their offending behaviour, provide additional support to improve employability skills and ultimately support individuals into employment, education or training.
All of our approaches are underpinned by restorative justice principles and a key part of our work is providing an enhanced understanding of the impact of offending behaviour on individuals and communities.
